STAY IN THE KNOW
Intuitive Eating
Ditch the binge & restrict cycle.
If you're considering another diet after trying countless options—only to regain the weight then maybe you need to hear this
"Diets do not work long term and can harm our self-esteem, confidence, and overall well-being."
If you're ready to see nutrition and health beyond BMI and scale numbers, you're in the right place!
f this resonates with you, know that you are not lacking self-control.
You may benefit from support in tuning into your body's signals.
Do you know when you're truly hungry or when you've had enough?
Many of us struggle to recognize our body's subtle hunger signals BUT with strategies that are specific to you , we can support your ability to identify these cues and ultimately develop a healthier relationship with food and improve your diet quality.
Our weight-inclusive approach focuses on body neutrality and recognises the importance of supporting emotional regulation.
We aim to foster self-care, movement, and nutrition, helping you build a happier relationship with food and your body.
*Remember, it’s okay to use food as an emotional coping mechanism within a tool box of additional supportive tools*

Specialist ADHD Nutrition Programs/ Services
ADHD can have a significant impact on eating habits and overall nutritional intake .
Often due to specific traits associated with ADHD such as hyperfocus , executive functioning challenges and decision fatigue , overwhelm we can find food shopping, planning meals, cooking and decisions around food choices more and even interception (ability to know body signals like hunger and fullness) difficult.
We can experience intense hunger as a result of a hyper focused period, that often leads to the consumption of more calorie dense foods that require less mental effort and food prep , as a direct result of the absorption on a task that could mean we haven't noticed or we have ignored all other body signals (including needing a wee!!) or other needs such as thirst.
Often called the binge restrict cycle but not diet restriction more a complete absence of realising you needed to eat and drink!
I've recently heard these unique challenges associated with ADHD and subsequently eating difficulties described really accurately through the “spoons” analogy:
If you can compare with a neurotypical individual , the neurotypical individuals are often born with more energy (“spoons”) for daily tasks. In contrast, those with neurodiverse experiences have fewer spoons, making even simple activities like meal prep feel more energy-intensive and ultimately at higher risk of feeling overwhelmed and nurnt out from daily task.
Highlighting the importance of understanding these barriers, fostering empathy, and supporting healthier eating habits in a way that feels realistic, supportive and empowering!
